Andy Dalton, whose full name is Andrew Gregory Dalton, was born on October 29, 1987, in Katy, Texas. As of now, Dalton is 33 years old.

Andy attended the Katy High School located in Katy, Texas. During his time at Katy High School, he played for the Tigers football team. He started his only season for Katy High School as a quarterback in 2005. 

Dalton led his time at the Tigers to the state finals in 2005. However, his team lost 34-20 to the Southlake Carroll. 

As a senior, Andy had 15 interceptions, threw 2,877 yards with 42 touchdowns. Besides, Andy Dalton was awarded the Greater Houston Area offensive player of the year by the Houston Chronicle.

College Career 

Andy committed to his football career at Texas Christian University on October 19, 2005. During his freshman year, Andy Dalton was redshirted. However, he traveled with the team in every game.

He was also listed as Horned Frogs’ third-string quarterback behind redshirt freshman Marcus Jackson and senior Jeff Ballard. During the 2007 season, he was a starting quarterback with Jackson.

In addition, two weeks before the season opener against Baylor, Andy was named the starter by Gary Patterson. Gary was the head coach at TCU. 

Furthermore, in 2007 Andy was named the Texas Bowl MVP in Texas Christian University’s 20-13 win over Houston. Besides, he set a record of 34-3 of his career during his university career.

Andy Dalton led his college team to an 11–2 record during the 2008 season. The team finished seventh in the national A.P. Poll and second in the Mountain West Conference.

Andy Dalton was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals on April 29, 2011, during the second-round pick. He was the fifth quarterback selected out of the twelve quarterbacks chosen for the 2011 NFL Draft. 

The Cincinnati Bengals signed Dalton on a four-year rookie contract worth $5.21 million with a $4.02 guaranteed and a $2.29 million signing bonus.

Andy Dalton played his first game for the Bengals against the Cleveland Browns on September 11, 2011.

‘Red Rifle’ completed 10 out of 15 attempts for 81 yards, a pass rate of 102.4, and a touchdown before getting injured. The Cincinnati Bengals won the game 27-17 against Cleveland Browns. 

Andy Dalton vs. The Ravens 

Andy Dalton threw four touchdowns passed against the division rival Baltimore Ravens on September 13, 2018.

All of his touchdowns happened during the first half, three of which were caught by A.J. Green. The Cincinnati Bengals would go on to win the game 34-23 against Baltimore Ravens. 

However, Andy Dalton suffers a thumb injury in week 12 during the fourth quarter. Dalton suffered from a torn ligament in his thumb. It led him to be placed on the injured reserve on November 26, 2018.

She was born to her father, Charles Douglas Jones, and mother, Jeanie Barnhill Jones. Jordan grew up with a younger brother named Doug Jones.
