Though John Kruk has been married twice, he has spent over two decades with his second wife, Melissa McLoughlin.

John Kruk is a former MLB player, coach, and current broadcaster.

Born in 1961 in Charleston, West Virginia, Kruk made his mark as a first baseman and outfielder in MLB.

He played for the San Diego Padres, Philadelphia Phillies, and Chicago White Sox between 1986 and 1995.

He was a three-time All-Star and is now enshrined in the Philadelphia Phillies Wall of Fame.

After retiring in 1995, he became a baseball analyst and broadcaster. He worked with ESPN’s “Baseball Tonight” and later for the Philadelphia Phillies’ TV broadcasts.

John Kruk And His Wife, Melissa, Have Been Married Since 2000!

John Kruk is married to Melissa McLoughlin, whom he met in 1999 in Philadelphia through a mutual friend.

They dated for a year and got married on December 20, 2000. Together, they have three children, Gavin, Kyle, and Kiera.

Melissa is a former Miss New Jersey in 1999, and she even competed in the Miss USA pageant.

She hails from Cinnaminson, New Jersey, and attended Cinnaminson High School.

Despite her husband’s fame in baseball and broadcasting, she kept her profile low, rarely appearing in public media.

In June 2024, an unverified claim surfaced alleging that Kruk filed for divorce after a DNA test revealed the children were not biologically his.

However, this news has not been confirmed by any major news outlet nor by Kruk or Melissa.

Also, there are no publicly verified legal filings yet. Their relationship has been described as strong and private, even after more than two decades.

Therefore, unless more reliable sources confirm, it is best not to jump to a conclusion.

Before marrying Melissa in 2000, John Kruk was previously married to Jamie Heeter.

Their marriage began on May 6, 1991, but ended in divorce sometime around 1998.

While the cause of their divorce remains under wraps, it is reported that they separated with no legal drama or public disputes.

Moreover, Kruk has never spoken publicly about the reasons behind the split, and Jamie has maintained a low profile ever since.
