The former two-time UFC Heavyweight Champ Frank Mir’s daughter, Bella Mir, followed in her father’s footsteps to mixed martial arts.

A collegiate athlete, Bella is on a UFC treadmill like her dad and became the first-ever athlete to sign a NIL deal with Dana White‘s MMA promotion.

High hopes and prying eyes are set on Mir’s daughter. To some extent, she’s already proving her worthiness in the mixed martial arts. She stands with a MMA fighting stat of 3-0.

Frank Mir (birthname: Francisco Santos Miranda) is an American MMA fighter who competed in the UFC and Bellator MMA in the heavyweight division.

While in the UFC for 16 years (2001-16), he became a two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion, with victories over Tim Sylvia and Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira.

One of his most famous bouts was with the WWE wrestler cum MMA fighter Brock Lesnar, with whom he had a 1-1 record in two fights. The Lesnar vs Mir 2 (at UFC 100) was his most pay-per-view matches with 1.6 million PPV.

After the UFC, he went on to compete in the Bellator MMA, winning only one of his three bouts. His most recent fight was against Roy Nelson at Bellator 231, on October 25, 2019.

He stands with an MMA stats of 19-13-0 and a total career earnings of over $3.809 million.

Nicknamed “Lady”, Isabella Mir is a college student at the Unversity of Iowa (enrolled in 2022), coming out of Centennial High School.

A four-time Nevada state high school wrestling champion, her wrestling prowess is visible in her college too. She became the 2023 U20 National Champion and Grand Prix of Spain Champion.

Side by side, she competes in the flyweight division in MMA and already has a 3-0 win streak- thanks to the mentorship of her UFC fighter father.

Bella got her first victory against Danielle Wynn in Kon Fighting Federation 2, on October 22, 2020.

Then, on December 11 that year, with a win over Alma Cespedes in Kon Fighting Federation 4, she stood with a 2-0 record.

Her third victory came after an armlock win against Jessica Link at Xtreme Fight Night 381, on June 24, 2022.

Yet, she doesn’t have a Wikipedia page like her father Frank Mir. Without a doubt, her promising career in MMA sees that day not so far.

Bella Mir Signed The UFC’s First NIL Deal

On January 27, 2023, Frank’s daughter, Bella, created history after being the first-ever college athlete to sign an NIL deal with the UFC.

Shortly after, the announcement, she released a statement of her gratefulness & wrote, “I’m going to make sure I do my best to represent UFC and show the world what I’m all about.”

Given her interest in mixed martial and her father’s connection in the MMA world, many argue it is evident that she is destined to join the UFC.

Even if the NCAA allowed the NIL deals in June 2021, it took two years for the UFC to align with it.

Meanwhile, the WWE has over 30 college athletes who signed NIL deals with them. The Olympic wrestling gold medalist Gable Steveson was their first signee.

Frank Mir Is The Father Of Four Kids: Wife & Married Life

Born on May 24, 1979, Francisco aka Frank, 44, is the father of four kids including a stepson with his wife, Jennifer Mir.

As reported, the MMA fighter and his spouse, Jennifer, have been married since January 11, 2003. The same year, their daughter Bella was born.

In an Instagram post in December 2022, Mrs. Mir wished her beau with an adorable picture and heartfelt caption on their 19th anniversary.

Together with his wife, Frank shares four children, three of whom are his biological children. Their oldest son Marcus Mir (born on July 4, 1992), is from his wife’s previous relationship.

Among their biological kids, their daughter Bella is the oldest, followed by Kage (b. October 10, 2005) and Ronin Maximus (b. June 9, 2009).

As for the age gap from Bella’s perspective, she is 10 years younger than her stepbrother Marcus. She has age gaps of two years & six years with Kage and Ronin, respectively.
