Then Brady transferred to Eustis High School in Eustis. As a senior, he had an average ERA of 1.25 and 110 strikeouts in 67 innings.

Age & Body Measurements

Brady Singer was born in 1996, which makes him 28  years old as of 2024.

His star sign is Leo, and from what we know, Leo is one of the fiercest and most competitive signs.

Besides his thirst for greater things and tenacity to work hard, Brady is also blessed in terms of physicality.

As a pitcher, Singer must be compatible with his teammates and physically fit to deliver powerful strikes.

Singer is 1.98 meters tall and weighs around 209 lb.

By the end, he finished the season 2-2 with a 4.95 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 43 2/3 innings.

Likewise, Brady played collegiate summer baseball for the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League.

That season he was named the best prospect by Baseball America. As a sophomore in 2017, Singer moved into the starting rotation and was named to the All-SEC Second Team.

As part of the team, he led Florida to the College World Series finals against the LSU Tigers and started game 1, striking out 12 batters and winning the game with a 4-3 score.

Eventually, Florida won the national title, and Singer was named to the All-Tournament Team.

As a junior, Brady became the SEC Pitcher of the Year after leading the SEC with ten wins and posting a 2.25 ERA.

After owning a 12-1 record with a 2.30 ERA, Singer also won the Dick Howser Trophy. Finally, he finished the season with a 12-3 record and a 2.55 ERA while compiling a .204 batting average across 17 starts.

Scouting Reports

Brady Singer is always good on the field. Alec Lewis from The Athletics compared Singer to former Louisiana State University pitcher Aaron Nola.

The comparison legit draws the argument that Singer has some real potential.

Singer changed his grip and bit, also changing the velocity. He intended to slow it down and allow more rotations so that he could throw more hitters and generate more swings.

He has a long and lean body of a good pitcher, giving him the durability element. Moreover, he threw his fastball up to 95-96 mph consistently.

His sliders were equally good. He had this thing to manipulate his pitch regarding depth and velocity.

Brady is indeed a competitor, always keen to improve.

With highs, there come lows. Brady was not the best at delivery. Nonetheless, he has also improved heaps in terms of delivery these days.

Professional Career

Looking at his high school and college years, it was evident that Brady was sure to turn professional after his graduation.

Then as expected, in the 2018 MLB Draft, the Kansas City Royals picked Singer 18th overall. After that, on July 3, Brady signed with the Royals for a contract worth $4.25 million.

Singer finally made his professional debut with the Royals in 2019, where he played against the Wilmington Blue Rocks.

The young Singer was promoted to the Northwest Arkansas Naturals after going 5-2 with a 1.87 ERA over ten starts.

Along with that, Singer was named the 2019 All-Star Futures Game. Then with over 16 starts with the Naturals, he went 7-3 with a 3.47 ERA and struck out 85 over 90 2/3 innings.

Following his progress in those two years, Brady was promoted to the Royals roster at the beginning of the 2020 season. With this, Singer made his Major League debut on July 25, 2020, where he played against the Cleveland Indians.

Brady Singer caught everyone’s eye as a fresher in 2020.

For his debut game, Singer pitched five innings of two-run ball in a no-decision.

Similarly, from the 2018 draft class, Singer was the first pitcher to make it to the majors and the second payer overall to do so, following Nico Hoerner.

Recent Career

Also, on September 10, 2020, Singer allowed no hits through 7.2 innings against the Cleveland Indians. But just until he gave one to Austin Hedges in the bottom of the eighth.

For his next match against the Detroit Tigers, Brady fell one pitch short of an immaculate inning right after Miguel Cabrera fouled off Singer’s ninth pitch. Nonetheless, Singer struck out on the next pitch.

With the 2020 Kansas City Royals, Brady appeared in 12 games while compiling a 4-5 record with a 4.06 ERA and 61 strikeouts in 64.1 innings pitched.

In 2021, he started 27 games and went 5-10 with a 4.91 ERA, 131 strikeouts, and 53 walks over 128 1/3 innings.

Singer again started the 2022 season in Kansas City’s bullpen, and on April 28, he was optioned to the Triple-A Omaha Storm Chasers and was recalled on May 17.

It kept him from gaining a full-service year in 2022, which extended the Royals’ window of club control by another season.

Reportedly, Brady lost to Kansas City Royals in salary arbitration on February 8, 2023 because of which he will get $2.95 million rather than $3.32 million. It was decided by Howard Edelman, Walt De Treux, and Brian Keller.

The star player was eligible for negotiation for the first time as a Super Two player. In the coming winters, he will be eligible three more times for the process, under the control of Royals through 2026.

The arbitration loss means he will start from a slightly lower platform salary than he’d hoped as he progresses through that process.

According to a source on February 17, 2023, Brady is one of 10 Royals representing the U.S. in the World Baseball Classic. The U.S. won the title in 2017 and looks forward to defending its 2017 Classic title.

The Royals right-hander is incredibly excited about the Classic and is ready to do anything asked of him.

Net Worth & Income

In his early 20s, Brady has achieved far more than most baseball league players. Not to mention, this young pitcher is destined for greater things in the future.
