Brayden McNabb’s wife, Lelanie McNabb, gave birth to a baby boy in April 2023. The couple welcomed their first child two years after their wedding.

The Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Brayden McNabb’s first half of 2023 has been nothing but spectacular. He became a father for the first time earlier this year and is now an NHL Champion.

In Game 5 against Carolina Panthers, even the defenseman joined the fun as he recorded an assist as his team rampaged past Panthers 9-3. 

With his teammates, Jack Eichel, Mark Stone, and Shea Theodore, Brayden McNabb lifted the Golden Knights’ first-ever Stanley Cup.

Their teammate, Jonathan Marchessault, was crowned the Stanley Cup playoffs MVP, bringing curtains to a great season.

Lelanie graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with an engineering degree in 2019. She is the daughter of Carel and Susan Seyffert and has two siblings, Chris and Elsabe. 

Her mother, Susan Seyffert, comes from a South African background and is a Southern Alberta Institute of Technology graduate.

Susan is a payroll accounting analyst at Repsol Oil & Gas Canada and previously worked in a similar position at Superior Propane.

Carel Seyffert, the father of three, also has a South African background and completed his higher-level studies at the Johannesburg Technical College.

Lelanie’s father started working in the cyber security industry from 1990 at CSP Security PTY Ltd and later worked at AVes Cyber Security and Atco Frontec Security.

He currently works at Convergint Technologies as a senior accountant executive after working as a Regional Sales Manager at Avigilon for more than a year.

Similarly, her brother, Chris Seyffert, went to study at the University of Saskatchewan and graduated with a degree in physiology and pharmacology.

He works as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Impress for the past couple of months and has previously worked as a student crew in Saskatchewan. 

Brayden And Lelanie McNabb Relationship Timeline 

Brayden and Lelanie McNabb first went public with their relationship in 2018. 

The NHL player kick-started his year by sharing an Instagram post with Lelanie as they celebrated New Year together. A few months later, he shared a picture of him and Lelanie on her birthday. 

Being a fairly private person, Brayden hasn’t shared much about his love life on social media.

However, on December 26, 2019, the Vegas Golden Knight player made a grand reveal as he announced his engagement with Lelanie.

In the snap shared by Brayden, Lelanie can be seen showing her engagement ring while carrying her pup. 

As the couple continued their tradition of celebrating Halloween, they dressed as Scooby Doo characters with their friends for the one in 2020.

Brayden and Lelanie dressed as the love interests of the show, Freddie and Daphne, replicating their costumes to the tee.

They Welcomed Their First Child In April 2023

The couple tied the knot in August 2018, with Brayden sharing a singular wedding picture.

Unlike, many other couples who tend to share a gallery of images, Brayden stuck to sharing one snap from his big day.

Though Brayden hasn’t shared any images, it has been reported that he and Lelanie welcomed a baby boy in April.

As per the NHL site, Lelanie gave birth to a baby boy when the Knights played the Jets in the Western Conference first round.

The couple might not have shared any pictures of their baby boy, but proud grandmother, Susan Seyffert might have blessed the internet by sharing few snaps on her Facebook handle.
