Cameron Ward looks like a guy that will play in the NFL soon. The talented youngster has a plethora of skills that have taken him this far.

In addition, he has a very supportive family as well. His parents and siblings motivate him and fuel him up for greatness.

Cameron Ward is a 24-year-old football player from Lake Jackson, Texas. Ward is a college athlete and plays as quarterback for Washington State Cougars.

He attended Columbia High School, and that was where his football journey officially started. He played in offense and was not that popular among the scouts, so he joined the University of Incarnate World.

As a freshman, Ward won the Jerry Rice Award and also was the Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Year. Then Ward transferred to Washington State University in 2022.

Nonetheless, he is the Cougars’ starting quarterback. Ward strives each day to be a top pick in the NFL.

Calvin Ward is the offspring of Calvin and Patrice Ward, the couple have done an excellent job raising 4 kids. Cameron is the fourth kid and the second son.

Father Calvin Ward is an employee at a nuclear plant in Bay City, and his mother Patrice is a teacher at Columbia High. She has an athletic past and also is a basketball coach.

Despite their busy schedules, they have always attended Cameron’s matches if possible. The Ward duo live in Texas but never compromise when their son is playing.

Moreover, this form of support is what inspires young Cam to perform even better and reach new heights.

Cameron Gets His Drive For Competition From His Family

The Ward family is inherently competitive, be it Monopoly or any form of card game. Calvin and Patrice said, “Cameron and I, we’re both competitive – our whole family is competitive.”

His oldest brother, Alton, is currently 35-year old and is a graduate of Texas A&M University.

Meanwhile, his oldest sister, Aaliyah, is 31-year old and is the science teacher and head basketball coach at Columbia High School.

The mother and daughter are colleagues and also share a head and assistant coach relationship.

Lastly, Cam’s second sister Chantel is 27-year old and is an athlete as well. She threw pot and discus at Houston Baptist University, then moved to the University of California. 

Furthermore, all 4 siblings share an excellent relationship. Their competition might be aggressive at times, but it is all healthy family jokes at the end of the day.

The collegiate athlete also has well-recognized family members in the NFL.

He is the cousin of Quandre Diggs of the Seattle Seahawks and former cornerback Quentin Jammers.

Moreover, he shares a close relationship with Quentin, and the cousins often interact online. For Ward, Diggs is a person who he can take qualitative advice from.
