On December 30, 1992, Wentz was born in Raleigh, North Carolina. His parents and two brothers raised Carson during his childhood. He is the middle child of his proud parents.

Early Career

Wentz started his football career at a young age while joining his school. He played as a quarterback and defensive back for the school football team at the school.

With this success, he became the backup quarterback player during the second season at NDS. He ended the season as a second-string quarterback, with his best performance against ‘Delaware State.

In 2014 at NDS, Wentz became Bison’s starting quarterback. Likewise, he debuted in the national championship game against ‘Illinois State.’ By scoring a touchdown with just 37 seconds left, he could make his team secure in the game.

Carson’s best game during his career was the one he played against Northern Iowa in October 2015. After that, he suffered from a wrist injury and took some breaks from the game for recovery.

After winning the FCS title in January 2016, he was named the ‘NCAA Division I-AA Championship Game Most Outstanding Player for his outstanding performance.

Professional Career

After graduating from college, Carson joined Philadelphia Eagles in 2016 after being selected for the 2016 NFL Draft first round.

Returning to the 2018 season, Carson became third in the overall NFL Top 100 Players of 2018, one of the highest-ranking in the league’s history.

Due to the ACL injury, he missed the first two games that year but still debuted against Indianapolis Colts with a winning record of 20-16.

The Eagles extended their contract of Carson for four more years at the beginning of the 2019 season. For the 2019 season, Wentz played against various professional teams like Washington Redskins, Green Bay Packers, Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys, etc.

After suffering from a head injury, he discontinued the 2019 season and rested for recovery. After returning from injury for the 2020 season, he played against the Washington Football Team, losing the game.

Carson was traded to the Indianapolis Colts team on March 17, 2021. In the remaining period, he suffered a leg injury and underwent surgery on August 2, 2021.
