Casey Arthur Mize, 28, is a professional MLB player for Detroit Tigers, who is married to Tali Mize. The Pitcher and his wife tied the knot on November 1, 2019.
The MLB player was already drafted by the Tigers before he was even married. The Michigan based team also offered Casey a rookie contract on June 25, 2018.
He got a signing bonus of $7.5m during that time and was the first overall pick for the Tigers. Even though he joined the team two-year earlier he got to make his MLB debut on August 19, 2020, against Chicago White Sox.
Starting from his debut he has madeonly over 75 appearances for the team till date, due to severe injuries in 2022 and 2023. However, he has had a strong comeback performances since the return.
Casey Mize And His Tali Are Expecting A Baby
After almost six years of marriage the Detroit’s No.12 and Tali are expecting their first Child.
The news was announced by Tali herself in an Instagram Post. She wrote the Caption, “I’m having his baby.”
2025 has been a decent year for Tali and Casey both. He also signed a one-year contract worth $2.34, avoiding arbitration two years in a row.
In this season he has played 17 games, and won nine of them. He has had 3.40 ERA, and 82 strikeouts in this season.
The player was also selected for MLB All-Star-Game, for the first time in his career, which is a great boost giiven his last setbacks.
