The former American baseball player, Chris Getz, married his wife, Nicole Korinek, on January 28, 2012. They together share three kids- two daughters and a son.

Belonging to the same state, Chris initially attended Wake Forest University for his undergraduate degree, while Nicole went to Michigan State University.

A year later, Chris transferred to the University of Michigan, where Korinek had also enrolled for her Master’s degree. So, they most probably met each other during their college years.

Christopher Ryan Getz, better known as Chris Getz, is currently the assistant general manager for the MLB’s Chicago White Sox.

He has looked after the club’s minor-league operations and player development program for the past seven years.

Amidst the new development involving the firing of the White Sox Vice President and general manager, the media is speculating that Chris could be the new GM of the club.

Similarly, Getz’s friend Dayton Moore is expected to join him in the new team.

Fed up with their bad performances over the years, the White Sox chairman Jerry Reinsdorf fired both V.P. Williams and GM Rick Hahn on August 22.

After graduating high school, Nicole attended Michigan State University and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She later did her Master’s from the University of Michigan.

Chris also shifted to the University of Michigan around the same time, and after a few encounters, they began dating.

Following their marriage, the couple split their time between Kansas City and Michigan.

The couple now has three kids: two daughters and a son. However, there is little information about their little ones, as they are not active on any social media and prefer keeping their private life away from the public view.

In 2013, Chris’s wife, Nicole Getz, nicknamed Nicky, participated in the American reality TV show The Amazing Race.

Partnered up with another baseball player, David DeJesus’s wife, Kim, Nicky traveled across different countries in Europe and South America before eventually getting eliminated in the sixth episode.

The Race started in June 2013, and there was no communication between the participants and their family members during the entire time.

During that time, Chris got demoted to the minor league, and his wife only knew about it after she returned home.

Chris Getz was born to his parents, Art and Betsy Getz, on August 30, 1983, in Southfield, Michigan.

Raised in Grosse Pointe, he later attended Grosse Pointe South High School, where he excelled in baseball. He was a three-time All-Michigan Selection in the game during his high school.

Besides baseball, he was good at football and golf but decided to focus fully on baseball after the Chicago White Sox chose him in the 2002 MLB draft.

However, he joined college and decided to finish his undergraduate degree before entering the league.

Chris eventually made his MLB debut on August 12, 2008, for the White Sox. He was a second baseman for two more clubs except the White Sox from 2009 to 2014.

Chris eventually announced his retirement from baseball on May 16, 2014, and started his job as the assistant general manager for his former club, Kansas City Royals, where he worked until 2016.
