Christian Harris | Early Life & Family

Tylor finished eighth in the shot put at the Wake Forest Open with a throw of 15.48 meters. At the Coastal Carolina Invitational, Tylor finished fourth in the shot put.

High School Career

Christian decided to attend University Lab on the LSU campus, unlike Tylor, who went to Episcopal School.

Harris didn’t play linebacker in high school, but he was a linebacker when he started his true freshman year at Alabama in 2019.

He began the season as a starter and went on to start 12 of the 13 games, racking up 63 tackles and earning the title of Freshman All-SEC.

Harris came back as a starter in 2020 for his sophomore season. 

He announced his intent to enter the NFL Draft on January 17, 2022.

Harris excelled at the NFL Scouting Combine, where he met with several teams, including the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also had a 9.05 Relative Athletic Score, an analytics rating based on test performance.

The player completed the 40-yard dash in 4.44 seconds with a 10.3-yard split of 1.53 and a vertical leap of 34 1/2 inches.

Harris, a pillar at the center of one of the best defenses in the country, had his best year yet in 2021, finishing with 79 tackles, 5.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles.
