Back and Forth between Kevin Durant and CJ McCollum

In June 2018, All-Star Kevin Durant appeared as a guest on the podcast of Portland Trail Blazers player C.J. McCollum. It was worth your time.

Randomly talking,  the topic of Durant joining the Warriors came up which caused an interesting exchange on Twitter.

Actually, CJ was mad about KD and DeMarcus Cousins joining Golden State. And in return, Kevin fires back saying, ” Why are you mad about this stuff?”

Following that. MC justifies his statement by confronting, the Warriors have defeated the Blazers, before Durant furiously interjects with “You know you guys aren’t gonna win a championship.”

The non-stop exchange between KD and CJ

That hook line by KD ” I just did your fucking podcast” gathered primary attention and reactions from people. Since then, KD was all receiving compliments, insults, and so on.

But all’s well that end’s well. However, CJ cleared the air saying everything is good between the two stars.

Trade talks between Sixers and Blazers

Trade consultancy is a normal ritual in NBA especially when the club is heading into its offseason. The only way to make a trade is to match up the salaries of players.

And we guess the 76ers are doing the same to move Simmons according to the online portals. They are looking for potential athletes who are earning a similar amount of salary as Ben does and move him in place of the match.

Ben makes a whopping amount of $30 million as his salary and there are plenty of players who come under that line. Among them is CJ McCollum. And there are innumerable Simmons-for-McCollum rumors roaming around the internet.

Simmons will be heading into the second season of a five-year, $177.2 million contract. McCollum will be heading into the first season of a three-year, $100 million extension through 2023-24.

To add on, sources even claim that had he not agreed to this extension, MC would become an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2021.

Also, there are comparisons made in terms of age, Simmon will be turning 25 this year (2021) and CJ will be turning 30. Thus, it’s a much obvious fact that anybody trading for Simmons would be betting on his youth and capacity.
