As a senior, Nwaba accumulated about 22.0 points and 11.5 rebounds per game in 2010- 2011.

College career

Primarily, he joined Hawaii Pacific and performed in the 2011-12 season. Then Nwaba moved to Santa Monica College. He was honored with Western State Conference South Division Player of the Year In 2012–13.

David was also on the All-California Community College Athletic Association state first team after averaging 20.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists each game.

Nwaba was relocated to Cal Poly again in 2013.

As a sophomore in the next year, he performed in all 34 games with 30 jolts and ended eighth among Big West Conference players.

In his junior year, David completed and ended in the second position in Cal Poly’s lineup in 2014–15.

He was also 15th among Big West Conference players with 11.4 points each game.

He averaged 12.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.2 steals in 30 games.

As Nwaba’s Cal Poly career came to an expiration, he graded 15th in the program’s past in rebounds. With a total of 465, and was one of 23 players to slash more than 1,000 career points.

Professional career

Nwaba advanced from Cal Poly with a degree in sociology in the spring of 2016 and made his way to Reno, Nevada. He moved so that he could try out for the NBA Development League’s Reno Bighorns.

The Bighorns took him inside the association but later transacted to the Los Angeles D-Fenders.

David linked with the D-Fenders for preparation camp and completed the opening-night list.

Los Angeles Lakers

David signed a 10-day agreement with the Los Angeles Lakers On February 28, 2017. In a 109–104 loss to the Charlotte Hornets, he completed his NBA inauguration, playing six minutes of the fourth-quarter act.

Then, he contracted a second 10-day agreement with the Lakers.

Nwaba finished his primary twitch for the Lakers a day after. He earned six points in a 118–116 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.

The hardworking player retained a multi-year agreement with the Lakers on March 21, 2017, and He logged 19 points in a 115–104 damage to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Throughout his beginner season with the Lakers, Nwaba was allocated back down to the D-Fenders four times.

Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls took in Nwaba.
