Bill Haney: Cocaine Controversy

Bill was found with a small amount of cocaine while entering Canada for a boxing match.
As that incident came to light in the 2020s after Bill’s visa rejection to Australia, some thought it would compromise Haney’s boxing career. But those discreet thoughts vanished in the thin air.
Bill Haney took responsibility for his actions and issued an official apology. He also voluntarily entered a drug treatment program to address his addiction.

Was Bill Haney denied for Australian Visa?
In 2022, Bill Haney’s visa to Australia was denied as his son was to fight against George Kambosos Jr.
The reason was none other than Bill’s conviction for a drug felony charge that happened three decades earlier.
Devin and his team had been very concerned since Bill was a vital component of their training and preparation for the fight.
Fortunately, it was solved later and Bill obtained a temporary visa to accompany his son to Australia.
Devin Haney’s fight with George Kambosos Jr. took place on June 5, 2022, and he won via unanimous decision.
Moreover, on October 16, 2022, during a rematch against Kambosos Jr., Devin emerged victorious to stand with 29-0.
His next bout is scheduled on May 20, 2023, against Vasiliy Lomachenko. Who do you guys think will win?? Feel free to comment!
