His coaching career flourished after that. He served as the Naval Academy’s head coach for 50 years.

In 2005, Bill lost his father due to heart failure, which shook the coach very badly.

Jeannette Ruth Munn, Bill’s mother, was born on October 23, 1921. Jean was born and raised in Newberry, Ohio, where she attended a local high school. 

She was a language student at Hiram College when she met her future husband, Bill. Jean worked as a French and Spanish teacher after graduation.

On September 15, 2020, Bill lost his mother, who was living her 98th. She saw her son grow up and achieve his dreams. 

Jean was a wonderful wife, a loving mother to her only son, Bill, and a devoted grandma to her grandchildren. 

Belchick’s Wife, Relationship And Children 

In 1977, Belichick married an entrepreneur, Debby Clarke, but the couple split in the summer of 2006. However, it is said that they had already split up before the 2004 season. 

The accusation of Belichick having an affair with former Giants receptionist Sharon Shenocca further contributed to their divorce. 

Beginning in 2007, Belichick was dating Linda Holliday, the executive director of the Bill Belichick Foundation.

However, this affair did not see a happy ending, as they ended their things and parted ways in 2023.

Bill, with his former partner Debby, has three kids: Amanda, Steve, and Brian. Amanda graduated from Wesleyan University in 2007, where she, like her father, played lacrosse.

After graduation, Amanda worked as a lacrosse coach and in the admissions department at Connecticut prep school Choate Rosemary Hall.

She joined the University of Massachusetts Amherst women’s lacrosse team as an assistant coach in 2009.

Similarly, the other son, Stephen, received a scholarship to play lacrosse and football at Rutgers University. Stephen then joined the New England Patriots as an assistant coach.

In May 2012, the organization promoted him to safeties coach, and in 2020, he assumed the position of outside linebackers coach.

Likewise, Bill’s other child, Brian, was hired by the Patriots’ front office as a scouting assistant in 2016. He served as a coaching assistant from 2017 to 2019.

After that, he was promoted to safeties coach ahead of the 2020 season.
