The NFL player was born in Oxford, England, to parents Lorinzo Foxworth and Karen Foxworth.

He was born during his Father’s career in the United States Army. Also, he is of African descent and holds American Nationality.

Aside from his parents, he grew up with his older brother Dion Foxworth. Likewise, when Foxworth was kindergarten-aged, he relocated to Maryland, America, and his family. 

As for his education, he attended the Western School of Technology and Environmental Science for his high school education.

He has been very passionate about football since his early days. Dominque mentioned in one of his interviews,

My dad asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. And I told him, a professional football player.

He proceeded to say, okay, you should set small goals between now and when you get there, and you should do something to work towards it every day, no matter how big or how small.

And that night, I did sit-ups because I was like, alright, I’m going to get strong enough right now to get in the NFL.

Graduation and Everything that followed

Following his passion, he became a member of his high school football team. Due to his incredible feats, he got named to the All-Metro, All-Baltimore Country, and the first team of Baltimore Sun.

After graduating from high school in 2000, Foxworth enrolled in the University of Maryland, joining Terrapin in early 2001.

While playing for the Terrapins, he had the distinct honor of winning The- Atlantic Coast Conference(ACC) three times.

Later, Foxworth also attended Harvard Business School (HBS)and earned an MBA degree.

Three years later, the Broncos traded him to the Atlanta Falcons for a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2009 NFL draft.

Likewise, Foxworth joined Baltimore Ravens in 2009, signing a four-year contract worth $28 million.

However, during the start of the 2010 season, Foxworth suffered an ACL injury on the first day of training camp, causing him to miss the entire season.

Following that, his knee problems continued till 2011, due to which he was moved to the injured reserve list by the Ravens after playing only two games, his name that season.

Similarly, in May 2012, Foxworth announced his retirement from football and attended Harvard Business School.
