Ashen Imanka, a member of a local community Facebook group, recently shared a post that sparked widespread attention and emotional responses.
The post described a painful experience involving a blind girl who was harshly judged for her volleyball performance by strangers.
A Deep Question From A Mother for Someone Who Criticizes Others Without Knowing the Full Story!
According to the post, the mother had witnessed strangers criticizing her daughter’s performance during a volleyball match.
While she was on the court, some spectators reportedly made dismissive and hurtful remarks about her performance.
Comments ranged from questioning why she was allowed to play at all to mocking her coordination and ability to follow the ball.
The mother was heartbroken by the judgment and felt compelled to speak out.
She shared that her daughter, whose name is Victoria, is blind in one eye.
Furthermore, she explained that her daughter has been playing on a team for six months and is deeply passionate about the sport of volleyball.
Despite her visual impairment, she trains strictly and plays with focus and heart.
The mother explained that her daughter doesn’t seek pity or special treatment.
Despite her daughter’s commitment to the sport and her ability to play with limited vision, the harsh comments left her heartbroken.

Rather than staying silent, the mother chose to speak out. She shared not only her pain but also her pride in her daughter’s courage and determination.
Moreover, she questioned whether those who judged her daughter had any idea what she was truly facing, asking:
Do you know she’s blind in one eye? And has ZERO depth perception to even be able to hit the ball.
Do you know she cried for days thinking she would never be good enough?
Do you know she practiced 8 hours a week this summer so she could improve enough to even try out for the team?
Do you know she is doing so FREAKING amazing and do you know she’s my daughter?
Do you know it’s women like you that don’t know anything about how to build up another person and teach your daughter it’s ok to talk about other girls like this?
Just a friendly mom note…
Remember before you speak or choose to judge someone… do you get that right?
Do you know their story?
Have you lived in their shoes?
Many people have responded to her Facebook post saying:
I love this. Thank you for sharing. God bless!
Additionally, many praised the mother’s courage and the daughter’s dedication and strength.
What began as a painful encounter has now become a source of inspiration!
