Jaden was born on September 25, 2002, to his parents, Barbarita Springer, and Gary Springer Sr.
He grew up with his four siblings- three brothers: Gary Jr, Jamie & Jordan, and a sister named Taniqua.

Springer played varsity basketball for Lighthouse Christian School in Antioch, Tennessee as an eighth-grade student. He averaged 19 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.
He opted to play the first two years of his high school at Rocky River High School in Mint Hill, North Carolina. As reported, the school’s head basketball coach Jermaine Walker took him in despite some academic and disciplinary concerns.
And the call was worth it! As a freshman, Jaden notched 21.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, and five assists per game, leading his school team to its first state tournament appearance.
In the following year, as a sophomore, he notched 24.7 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.4 steals, and 2.4 blocks per game, leading his team to reach the Class 4A state semifinals.
Not only that but Jaden was also titled Southwestern 4A Player of the Year. He switched his high school to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, for the rest of the high school season.
He became part of the country’s best teams and teammates with top recruits Armando Bacot, Josh Green, and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl.
To count on his junior year scorings, Jaden finished with 15.6 points, four rebounds, and four assists per game, leading his team to the GEICO High School Nationals title.

Recruiting
Let’s bring this up, but Jaden received a five-star rating from Rivals, 247 Sports, and ESPN. As a freshman in high school, Jaden started receiving scholarship offers from NCAA Division I basketball programs.
Jaden had scholarship opportunities from North Carolina, Memphis, Florida, and Michigan alongside Tennessee, but he chose Tennessee.
It is a different fact that Jaden, one of the topmost players of the class of 2020, was a true fan of North Carolina. And yes, at the same time, he had a strong feeling about Memphis and its playing games.
