Jaylen Brown’s brother, Quenton Brown, is a former collegiate football player. Quenton is the only sibling of Jaylen and currently works in the 7uice Foundation.
The two brothers both had an equal love for sports, but only one chose to make it his career. Quenton had a tryout with the Raiders, but that led to nowhere.
But there wasn’t any animosity between the two. The big brother couldn’t be much prouder seeing his little brother succeed and become one of the best at his position.

Jaylen Brown, with his Celtics teammate, Jayson Tatum, came close to making history against Heat. But Jimmy Butler and his side were the ones that went on to face Nikola Jokic’s side in the NBA finals.
Brown faced tons of scrutiny for his playoff form, with many questioning whether the partnership of Brown and Tatum would ever deliver the NBA title for the Celtics.
Jaylen Brown Brother, Quenton Brown
Jaylen Brown’s brother, Quenton Brown, graduated with a degree in business administration from the University of North Texas in 2015.
He had previously enrolled at the University of Central Florida, switching colleges in his junior year. If his little brother, Jaylen, was interested in basketball, then Quenton showed interest in football.

Standing at 6’4, Quenton Brown played tight end and was once a three-star rated recruit by Rivals.com. He was even in the NFL side Las Vegas Raiders’ practice squad but never debuted in the NFL.
After leaving football behind, Quenton decided to try his hands at the music industry and was a project manager for the Universal Music Group. But he took up that job for only a year before joining Playbooked, where he worked as an Athlete Relations Coordinator.
The big brother, Quenton, also manages the NBA star’s business 7uice apparel line. He is the director of the 7uice Foundation. Quenton is available on Instagram with the username @quentonmbrown, where his close bond with his little brother is clearly depicted.
Jaylen Brown Parents, Mechalle, And Marselles Brown
Jaylen Brown came from a single-parent household. His mother, Mechalle Brown, raised her two sons singlehandedly in Marietta, Georgia.
Brown has repeatedly said in many of his interviews that his mother always gave importance to education and academics. After all, Mechalle has a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.

In 2019, when Brown signed the $115 million contract, one of the first things he bought was a whip for his mom. He revealed it in his interview with SHOWTIME Basketball in 2019.
In 2020, the Celtics forward penned a beautiful message for his mom, thanking her for the contribution she made to spark his interest in activism.
In the short video, Brown addressed his mom thanking her for teaching him to learn from his experiences. It was through her teaching he learned to question the inequality that is to date seen among the African-American population.
His Father Is A Professional Heavyweight Boxer
Jaylen Brown’s father wasn’t there in his formative years, so he might have wanted to make up for it when he became older.
Standing at 7-foot, his father, Marselles Brown, came out of retirement from boxing at age 48 in 2016. He did so to motivate his two sons.

Speaking to Boxing247.com, Marselles said he was proud of both of his sons but especially of Jaylen, whom he considers an extraordinary athlete.
Marselles had his last fight against Juan Lopez Alcaraz in 2016, which he won by a knockout.
Born and raised in Hawaii, Marselles made his professional debut in 1989 and has won 33 matches, lost 18, and drawn one.
