He continued his success at the United States Air Force Academy, earning accolades as the Western Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 1996 and 1997.
Gizzi, an undrafted free agent, signed with the Denver Broncos in 1998 and later found his stride with the Green Bay Packers in 2000 and 2001, recording memorable moments.
After concluding his playing career, Gizzi transitioned into coaching and initially served as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for North Carolina. He later took on the same role for the Green Bay Packers.
Despite his impactful contributions, his coaching journey concluded when the Packers relieved him of his duties on January 25, 2024.

After graduating from the Air Force Academy in 2001, Jennifer transitioned from serving as an Air Force Officer to starting a fitness career in Chicago, where she eventually met Chris.
Their love story began through mutual classmates, and the connection deepened.
Consequently, the couple tied the knot on the first anniversary of their first date, marking the beginning of their beautiful journey together.
Together with her husband, Chris Gizzi, and their four children, Jennifer proudly calls Green Bay, Wisconsin, home.
Furthermore, their family expanded with the arrival of four children in just six years, nicknamed the A-Team: Alice, AJ, Abi June, and Atticus.
The family moved to Green Bay in 2013, where Chris joined the Packers.

His impact was particularly significant during the last five years when he served as the coordinator.
