Jimmer started his early career in basketball during his high school days. From high school to his professional career, he has made a remarkable career in basketball. In this section, we will be discussing his career activities from high school to the present day.
Early Career
As mentioned earlier, Jimmer was trained basketball by his brother during his kindergarten days. After that, he used to play with his brother and his friends in the backyard court.
Right after joining Glens Falls High School, he joined the school football team and started playing for the school basketball team.
After recording the highest score, he ranked 16th on New York’s all-time scoring list. He was also named the first-team all-state by the New York State Sportswriters Association and the Times Union as a junior and senior.
Upon successfully graduating from high school, Fredette joined Brigham Young University in 2007. He also joined the university basketball team and started playing for the team.
In the freshman season at that Brigham university, he captured the Mountain West Conference regular-season championship. Similarly, in the sophomore season at the university, he became BYU’s first point guard to earn first-team all-conference honors.
