Joe Pavelski, an American former professional ice hockey player, has been married to Sarah and has a son, Nate. They have been together for 17 years and recently shared their anniversary pictures on social media.

The former athlete is grateful for the adorable family they have built together. His wife has always been supportive of his athletic journey.

Joe Pavelski still enjoys his athletic achievements even after his retirement and has won the 2025 American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe.

He had finished as the runner-up in the ACC in 2022 and 2024 before finally breaking through this summer.

His consistency was key, and he tallied 73 points in the tournament. He shot a 2-under 70 on Friday, even par 72 on Saturday, and a stellar 4-under 68 on Sunday. The exclamation point came on the final hole, where his extended eagle putt won the game.

His wife and son congratulated him after winning the ACC. He earned $150,000 for the win, which will likely go towards a new MasterCraft boat.

Retired MLB pitcher John Smoltz took second with 64 points, while country music star Jake Owen finished third with 62 points.

Joe retired after an 18-season NHL career, 13 seasons with the San Jose Sharks, and 5 with the Dallas Stars.

I don’t know what to say, actually. But just an amazing week. This place is incredible. It means the world to me. I think, coming into the round today, I felt really confident about my game.
It’s going to sound stupid, but I hit two fairly decent shots on one and make a double bogey, and hit two fairly decent shots on number two and make a bogey. I was just kind of searching for it, scratch my head a little bit and try to tell myself to be patient, there’s a lot of golf left. And the birdie on 3 was huge.

Joe Pavelski’s Wife Is The Supportive Force Behind Him

Sarah Pavelski has been a constant source of love and support behind the scenes while Joe made a name for himself as one of the NHL’s most respected players.

They prioritize privacy and a grounded family life, making their bond one of the most enduring in the hockey world.

Sarah, born on July 11, 1984, is focused on her family rather than the spotlight. She prefers to keep a low profile despite being married to the former NHL Star.

Joe and Sarah’s love story began in the early 2000s when he was playing junior hockey for the Waterloo Black Hawks in Iowa. Their relationship blossomed, and they got engaged in May 2008.

Moreover, they tied the knot just two months later on July 12, 2008. Their family grew in 2010 with the birth of their son, Nathan Joseph Pavelski, on October 26.

Although Sarah stays out of the public eye, she is a familiar face at Joe’s games, often seen cheering him on from the stands alongside their son.

Joe often shares glimpses of their personal lives on social media and never fails to wish them on special occasions.

Happy Mother’s Day Sarah. So much love coming from your boys. You make this crazy life easy and exciting and you are the best mom to our boy. I love you 😘
