John Harbaugh, the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens, first met his future wife while working as a graduate assistant for his father, Jack, at Western Michigan University in 1985. Ingrid was a student assistant in the school’s baseball office at the time.
Little did John know that the woman he met would later become his wife and the mother of their one daughter.
Now, almost 32 years later, John and Ingrid Harbaugh are a happy couple and two of the most well-known figures in the NFL.
John Harbaugh, the football coach of the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL, comes from a family that values sports.
His father, Jack Harbaugh, contributed to the family’s football legacy by working as a college coach for 45 years, mainly focusing on defense and running backs.

These two brothers are the first pair to hold head coaching positions in the NFL. One of John’s most memorable moments as a coach occurred when his Ravens defeated Jim’s 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII on February 3, 2013, with a final score of 34-31.
