Newyork Knicks’ star player Julius Randle dropped a double-double to take a win 111-96 over his former team LA Lakers.

Just two nights after blowing out Brooklyn Nets 126-101.

La Lakers played Newyork Knicks where Knicks blew out the Lakers with 15 points margin.

They played well without Lebron James and Anthony Davis against the top-seeded Nets.

In the same, they poorly performed against the Newyork Knicks.

“Really poor passing, some bad decisions and some it, you have to credit the defense.

But as good as we were offensively two nights ago, we were just as bad tonight,” Lakers coach Frank Vogel said.

La Lakers started well, even took two points to lead the 1st quarter but soon they began to tremble.

The Knicks took the lead in the second quarter scoring 29 points while the Lakers managed to get 24 points.

Entering the third quarter, Knicks were up only three points. Soon New york Knicks lead over the Lakers extended.

Knicks led in double figures as the third quarter ended, they scored 26 points while Lakers managed to score only 16 points.

Lakers played well in the fourth quarter but still not enough to over come the deficit made in the third quarter.

Ultimately, the Knicks defeated the Lakers 111-96 securing their chance for now to play in the Play-In tournament for playoffs.

And he spent four years for the 2014-2018 seasons.

Today he played for the Newyork Knicks and dropped a huge double-double to secure the win over his former team.

Randle was too much to handle for his former team as he crushed their defensive end scoring 34 points along with 10 rebounds.

“We had to bring our hard hat,’’ Randle said. “We’ve relied on our defense all year.

Just doing what we’ve done all year. They’re a good defensive team. I was aggressive from the start.

It’s important early on in the second night of a back-to-back to bring energy and that’s what I tried to do.”

Subsequently, the Knicks led comfortably for much of the fourth quarter.

As Elfrid Payton scored 20 points and Derrick Rose added 14 off the bench for the Knicks.

Randle’s 13 points in the first quarter gave the Knicks energy to play on on the second night of back-to-back games.

Likewise, Randle continued to lead the charge as New York pushed its advantage to double digits in the second half.

It was not surprise for Randle to play well as he said, he is always motivated to play against Lakers.

After beating Memphis Friday and the Raptors Sunday, this was the Knicks’ third straight victory to have their record to 28-27. 

On the other hand, Dennis Schroder strong shooting in the absence of LeBron James and Anthony Davis was not enough for the Lakers to get the win.

Schroder dropped 21 points, 3 rebounds, and 6 assists while Markieff Morris scored 17 points.

Similarly Kyle Kuzma dropped 14 points in is return from the abscence due to injury.

For their next game:

The Lakers face the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday and the Knicks play the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday.

Russell Westbrook fifth straight triple-double to defeat league best Utah Jazz.

Utah Jazz entered the court with 24-game home-winning streak to play against the Washington Wizards.

As Russell Westbrook dropped his fifth straight triple-double for the Wizards to defeat the Jazz 125-121 on Monday night.

The game between the Jazz and the Wizards was extremely competitive with both teams going head to head.

Beal and Westbrook combined to score the Wizards’ first nine points of the game.

Utah soon tied the game scoring 9 points subsequently made a quick run to take a 15-9 lead but then the Wizards countered with a 7-0 run and lead by one.

Even though, Beal and Daniel Gafford combined for 20 points in the opening quarter for the Wizards.

But the Wizards couldn’t slow down Mitchell as he scored 17 first quarter points and  pushed the Jazz to an early nine-point advantage.

Eventually the Washington strong offense in the second quarter trimmed Jazz’s lead.

As they hit 13 of their first 15 field goals and 16-23 overall. Beal scored 13 of his 34 points in the second.

Soon the Wizards went from nine points down at the start of the quarter to up seven points with two minutes remaining.

After entering the third quarter, the Wizards hit two of their first nine field goals in the quarter.

Gafford jumped started a 13-3 run to put Washington up 92-83. Gafford finished the night with 15 points and four rebounds in 18 minutes. The Wizards made a 17-2 scoring run to end early in the fourth quarter.

But Utah made a comeback as the Jazz quickly erased the Wizards’ 19-point lead. Beal and Raul Neto hit free throws in the final seconds to seal the Wizards’ win.

Loss outshined Mitchell huge scoring night.

Russell Westbrook dropped 25 points, 14 rebounds, and 14 assists for the Wizards and his fifth consecutive triple- double.

Besides, Russell lead the scoreboard for the Wizards scoring 34 points, similarly, Gafford scored 15 points and Bertans dropped 10 points.

The Wizards win over the league’s top-seeded Utah Jazz outshined the huge scoring made by the Jazz’s Donovan Mitchell.

Donovan made great plays for the Utah, Mitchell had 17 points in the first quarter alone.

 

He also showed great and flashy moves and finished the game scoring 42 points along with 3 rebounds and 6 assists.

Even Bojan Bogdanovic had big scoring night as he scored 33 points, likewise Joe Ingles scored 18 points.

And Rudy Gobert finished the night with a double-double scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Next up Wizards face Sacramento Kings while the Jazz face Oklahoma City Thunder.
