The Harassment Case and ESPN

During her time at ESPN, the company was called a boys’ club because it was predominantly staffed by men there.
Ross reported they were in a staff meeting and had to bring out the topic of harassment that the female employees had to face there.
She discussed how male employees groped the female employees and how the latter came to her with terror in their eyes.
Dombrowski expressed her exhaustion with employees approaching her due to their inability to perform their jobs without being harassed.
Later, her public discussion of the harassment they faced in the meeting offended some male employees in the company.
After a few months of the meeting and her publicly calling out the harassers, ESPN chose not to renew her contract.
