Kenley Jansen brother, Ardley and Verney Jansen, motivated him throughout his journey from Willemstad’s streets to baseball’s elite.
He started playing baseball with his brothers at six and played first base and catcher.
On July 23, 2010, Jansen joined Dodgers and debuted against the New York Mets the next day.
That year Kenley appeared in 25 games with the Dodgers in 2010 with four saves.
From that, Kenley has come a long way, as in 2023, he became the 7th player in major league history with 400 saves.
It was during a Red Sox victory over Braves 5-2 on May 10, 2023, with his teammates Jarren Duran, Nick Pivetta, and more.
Ardley And Verney, Brothers Of Kenley
Kenley has two older brothers, Ardley And Verney, who share the same passion for baseball.
His older brother Ardley was born on February 16, 1983, and have almost 4 years of gap with his younger brother, Kenley.
Jasen brothers grew up Braves fans, and the Braves later signed Ardley, Kenley’s older brother, and his fellow Curaçaoan Andruw Jones.
Ardley played with the Braves in 1999, and during that time, most often, young Kenley would visit his practice.
He roughly played in centerfielder and left-fielder positions till 2010, but it isn’t sure if he is still playing.
As reported by Los Angeles Times, Ardley played at least 5 baseball seasons, and his brother Verney was also a baseball player and aspired to be in the Yankees.
Apart from Verney, her brothers went to the MLB dream, and reminiscing about the old poverty-stricken days reminds them to stay humble.
We aren’t sure if Kenley’s brothers are married, but Kenley’s Instagram has pictures of them with two women.

Kenley grew up with his older brothers, Ardley and Verney, among which only Ardley with Kenley pursued baseball professionally.
