Kent Bazemore | Professional career

Golden State Warriors 

In 2012, Kent was undrafted in the NBA draft. Later he hooked up with the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Orlando Summer League.

Moreover, he also joined the Golden State Warriors for the Las Vegas Summer League. After seeing his gameplay, Golden State Warriors signed him on July 26 of the same season.

He was assigned multiple times to that season’s Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League.

He scored a season-high 14 points in a loss to the Chicago Bulls in that league on March 15, 2013. 

Kent re-joined Golden State for the 2013 NBA Summer League in July 2013, where he was named a Summer League All-Tournament Team Recipient.

In February 2014, Kent was reassigned to the Santa Cruz Warriors, and Golden State recalled him. 

Los Angeles Lakers 

Kent was exchanged, alongside MarShon Brooks, on February 19, 2014, to the Los Angeles Lakers in return for Steve Blake.

In a loss to the New Orleans Pelicans, kent tied his then career-high of 23  points on March 4. But he was ruled out of the rest of the season after suffering a torn tendon in his right foot on April 7.

Atlanta Hawks

Kent signed with the Atlanta Hawks on September 23, 2014. He grabbed a season-high 20 points in a 115-100 loss to the Charlotte Hornets on March 28, 2015.

Similarly, on November 7, 2015, Kent notched a career-high 25 points in a 114-99 win over the Washington Wizards. And again set his new career-high with 28 points in a 100-88 loss to the Miami Heat in mid-December 2015.

On July 7, 2016, Kent extended his contract with Atlanta Hawks and scored his season-high 25 points in early November against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

In 2017 and 2018, he scored 25 and 32 points, respectively.

Playing with Atlanta Hawks, Kent Bazemore exercised his $19.2 million player option for 2019-20 on April 12, 2019.

Portland Trail Blazers 

Kent Bazemore was swapped to the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Evan Turner on June 24, 2019.

Sacramento Kings 

In exchange for Trevor Ariza, Wenyen Gabriel, and Caleb Swanigan, Kent was traded to Sacramento Kings, Anthony Tolliver, and two future second-round picks on January 20, 2020.

Return to Golden State
