Turner started the season with the boom, the first triple-double by a Big Ten player since January 2001.

Evan Turner helped the Buckeyes in the regular season co-championship of the Big Ten conference and assisted earned the number one seed in the 2010 Big Ten Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament.

Thus, Turner was appointed Tournament Most Outstanding Player and part of All-Tournament.

Philadelphia 76ers

Turner was selected with the 2nd overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2010 NBA Draft. Thus, he signed a 2-year contract worth $12 million, with the third-year option with the 76ers.

Turner made his first debut in October 2010; he recorded 16 points, seven rebounds, and four assists off the bench against Miami Heat.

Moreover, in December 2010, Turner scored a career-high 23 points in a 123-110 win against the Phoenix Suns.

Evan Turner was selected to play in the 2012 Rising Stars competition in February 2012. In March, he recorded a career-high 26 points against the Boston Celtics.
