Kevin Harvick was born on December 8, 1975, in Bakersfield, California, in a moderate family. He was one of the two kids of his parents: Mike Harvick and JoNell Harvick (nee Walker).
As reported, his father, Mike, once worked as a chief crew for the local race team. Then, he began working as a fireman and as a part-time mechanic.
His mother JoNell, worked as a secretary at the local elementary school.

The NASCAR driver’s wife, DeLana, is the daughter of former Busch Series driver John Linville and Joyce Linville. They married on February 28, 2001, after a year of dating.
