Luke Kornet was born into the household of Frank and Tracy Kornet in Lexington, Kentucky.
The couple has three children: Luke, his sister Nicole and his brother John.
Both of Luke’s parents are former Commodores and share the Vanderbilt bloodline with their son and daughter-in-law.
Frank played for Vanderbilt from 1985 to 1989 and was a second-round pick of the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1989 NBA Draft.
On the other hand, Tracy graduated with a French & International Relations degree from Vanderbilt University.
Luke’s parents are very supportive and have helped him get through some of the roughest patches of his life.
Upon completing high school, Luke was unable to secure any basketball scholarships to his name.
