Michael Lorenzen’s wife, Cassi Lorenzen, is a former volleyball player turned registered nurse. Cassi and Michael tied the knot in 2016, a few months after getting to know each other.
Their faith in Christianity has been one of the focal points of their successful marriage. Last year in November, the baseball couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl named June.
After meeting through mutual friends in 2015, Michael and Cassi knew they were meant for each other. The couple has embarked on its new journey, with Michael now playing for the Phillies.
Michael joined Detroit Tigers last December and has now been traded to Phillies for the prospect Hao-Yu Lee. The move sees him reunited with childhood friend Bryce Harper.

Michael Lorenzen’s wife, Cassi Lorenzen (nee Bullert), graduated from San Diego State University with a nursing degree.
Like her husband, Cassi used to be an athlete during her high school days. Cassi previously played volleyball for Foothill High School and was one of their star athletes.
A libero, standing at 5’2, Cassi played a total of 186 sets for the Foothill Cougars, with one of her best seasons being her senior year with 12 kills.
The couple met through mutual friends at the tail end of 2015 and went public with their relationship at the start of 2016.
On Valentine’s Day 2016, the baseballer shared a collage of photos of his outings with Cassi as an appreciation post.
Michael captioned the post, “I never planned on having a Valentine until I was 30, but this one is special and definitely a gift from God! Happy Valentine’s Day, Cass! Ecclesiastes 4:9-12.”
The Baseball Couple Tied The Knot In 2016
In an interview, Lorenzen said he and Cassi immediately hit off and revealed one of the reasons for their connection was their faith in Christianity.
A few months after getting to know each other, the baseballer went down on one knee. Though it might have felt too quick, in the engagement post from June 1, 2016, Michael said otherwise.
He wrote there was no greater feeling than to be with a woman who loves the Lord with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength.
The couple tied the knot on November 24, 2016, at San Diego’s Rancho Bernardo Inn. It is only a few hours from Lorenzen’s hometown of Anaheim, California.
The couple shared a sweet wedding video on Facebook almost a month after their wedding. The video started with Cassi’s father giving a wedding speech. As he spoke, the video showed Cassi getting ready for her big day with her bridesmaids.
The video showed the moment Cassi walked down the aisle with her man, and later them having a dance with their parents.
The wedding video ended with the couple and their guests doing the mannequin challenge, a viral Internet trend in 2016.
Michael Lorenzen And Wife Cassi Lorenzen Share A Daughter
On June 30, 2022, Cassi’s 27th birthday, Michael Lorenzen shared a series of pictures as a celebration post.
But that post was not only meant to celebrate Cassi’s birthday but also to announce they were soon going to be parents for the first time.
Along with sharing several pictures of his wife, Michael placed a sonography picture at the end.
The couple welcomed their daughter, June Elizabeth Lorenzen, on November 7, 2022, with Cassi doing a water birth delivery.
June attended a few baseball games with her mom before the All-Star break. The eight-month-old has been seen wearing her dad’s No.21 jersey and was also pictured at the All-Star game.
On July 26, Michael and Cassi were pictured with their daughter, celebrating Family Day, and that was probably the last they celebrated at Comerica Park.
From next season, the Lorenzen family will celebrate their Family Day at Citizens Bank Park.
