Milwaukee Bucks historic comeback in finals race

Milwaukee Bucks Fans are in rejoice after the Bucks make a comeback and take a 3-2 lead over the Phoenix Suns in the NBA finals.

Going down in the first two games of the NBA finals series, the Bucks made a historic comeback winning three games of the series in a row.

With the third win, the Bucks now lead the series over the Suns.

The Bucks defeated the Suns 123-119 to take a win in Game 5 on Saturday in Milwaukee.

Now the Bucks fans can breathe a sigh of relief as the Bucks now have a chance to win their first NBA finals in about fifty years.

All this is possible because of the efforts put in by their three starters for the win.

Former MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks followed by Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton, who supported Giannis to get the win.

All three starters dropped 20 plus points. While four of the Bucks players scored in double figures.

On the other hand, Devin Booker led the Suns, scoring game-high and all the five starters scoring in double-figures.

The Bucks over came the Suns lead in the first quarter. Ultimately, taking the win over the Suns at the end of the game.

Jrue Holiday came up with the first shot of the buckets, knocking down a long jumper.

The Suns tied the game and then Crowder knocked down a three-pointer on the next Suns possession and took the lead.

Giannis Antetokounmpo answered back making a hook shot on the other end.

Devin Booker drove straight to the rim, dropping a layup. With the bucket, the Suns took five-point lead.

Giannis then dropped a layup from under the rim.

Subsequently, Khris Middleton lost the ball and Jae Crowder dropped a dunk in transition.

Booker came up with a jump shot on the next possession and the Suns took seven point lead.

Pat Connaughton answered back, knocking down a three-pointer on Giannis’s pass.

The teams were 18-14 halfway into the quarter as Booker knocked down a three-pointer.

Antetokounmpo drove to the rim, dropping a layup. While Mikal Bridges came up with a steal and found Booker on the other end for a dunk in transition.

Subsequently, Giannis came up with a block on Mikal Bridges.

The Suns took 16 points lead with under three-points left to play in the quarter.

Connaughton knocked down a three-pointer from corner and Booker answered back with a jumper on the other end.

Torrey Craig added another bucket from behind the arc with under a minute left to play.

Hence the quarter ended 37-21 with the Suns taking 16 point lead over the Bucks.

The Bucks make a comeback in the second quarter.

Jrue Holiday came up with a layup and the Bucks cut the lead to 9 point early in the quarter.

Chris Paul knocked down a three-pointer and the Suns take 10 point lead.

Jrue found Brook Lopez for a dunk on the other end. Bobby Portis added another bucket, knocking down a three-pointer on the next possession.

The Bucks made a 9-0 run and cut the lead to 3 points with 8:27 remaining in the quarter.

Deandre Ayton dropped a layup after grabbing offensive rebound.

Connaughton knocked down a bucket from behind the arc. Subsequently, Paul came up with a steal and found Johnson for a three-pointer on the other end.

Khris Middleton knocked down a three-pointer and the Bucks cut the lead to three-point.

Chris Paul answered back, dropping a jumper. Portis made a hook shot and also drew a foul in the process.

They were 50-51 with under five minutes left to play in the quarter. 

Middleton drove to the rim and dropped a floater and the Bucks finally took the lead.

Cameron Payne got his own rebound and dropped a layup. The Suns took the lead right back with 4:35 remaining in the quarter.

P.J Tucker knocked down a three-pointer and the Bucks tied the game.

Payne dropped a floater but the Bucks tied the game again.

Ayton dropped a dunk on Payne’s pass. Jrue Holiday answered back, knocking down a three-pointer and taking the lead.

Middleton found Antetokounmpo for a jumper and Paul drove straight to the rim and dropped a layup with 0.4 seconds remaining in the quarter.

Hence, the quarter ended 64-61 with the Bucks making a comeback to take 3-point lead.

The Bucks dominate in the third quarter.

Booker dropped a jumper as a first shot of the third quarter. Middleton answered back, knocking down a three-pointer on the other end.

Subsequently, Booker dropped a jumper and Middleton answered with a jumper.

Booker again answered, droppint a jumper on the other end.

Jrue Holiday came up with a steal and dropped a three-pointer in transition.

The Bucks were 85-75 with the Suns as Chris Paul dropped a jumper.

They were 90-79 with 4:38 remaining in the quarter as Ayton dropped a left-handed layup.

Giannis knocked down a long jumper and Holiday added another jumper. Johnson knocked down a three-pointer with 1:37 remaining in the quarter.

Lopez dropped a dunk on Jrue’s pass and the Bucks took 12 point lead.

Booker knocked down a layup and the quarter ended 100-90 with the Bucks taking 10-point lead.

The Bucks take the lead of the series.

Booker dropped a jumper and Antetokounmpo answered back, knocking down a dunk on Tucker’s miss.

Two minutes into the quarter, Booker drew a foul, knocking down a layup.

Mikal Bridges added another bucket, dropping a three-pointer on the next possession.

Chris Paul knocked down a three-pointer and Antetokounmpo dropped a jumper on the other end.

Subsequently, Booker dropped a reverse layup. They were 113-102 as Bridges knocked down a three-pointer about halfway into the quarter.

Chris drove to the rim and knocked down a layup with Giannis guarding him.

While Middleton knocked down a jumper and also drew a foul in the process. Chris Paul answered back, knocking down a three-pointer.

Eventually, the Suns trailed the Bucks by only five point with 2:28 remaining in the quarter.

Khris Middleton answered back, knocking down a three-pointer. And the Bucks took 8-point lead again.

Booker dropped a layup and added three-pointer on the next possession.

Chris Paul added another bucket, dropping a layup and bringing the game within a point with 20.9 seconds remaining in the quarter.

Jrue Holiday came up with a steal and found Giannis on the other end for a dunk in transition.

This gave the Bucks 3 point lead and Middleton knocked down a free-throw. 

Hence the quarter ended 123-119 and the Bucks took the win.

For the win, Giannis led the Bucks, scoring 32 points and grabbed 9 rebounds along with 6 assists.

Khris Middleton dropped 29 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists.

While Jrue Holiday had 27 points and 13 assists double-double along with 4 rebounds.

Giannis and Jrue Holiday came up with huge performances at the end of the fourth quarter that gave the Bucks win over the Suns.

Meanwhile, Pat Connaughton led the Bucks bench, scoring 14 points along with 6 rebounds.

On the other hand, Devin Booker led the Suns, scoring game-high 40 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Chris Paul made 21 points and 11 assists double-double along with 2 rebounds.

While Deandre Ayton also made 20 points and 10 rebounds double-double along with an assist.

Likewise, Mikal Brideges dropped 13 points and 4 rebounds. While Jae Crowder contributed 10 points, 5 rebound, and 3 assists.

In addition, With the win the Bucks become the first team to go down 0-2 and win the next 3 games in an NBA Finals since the Miami Heat in 2006.

Also, with Devin Booker‘s 40 point game, he and Giannis Antetokounmpo become the first pair of players in NBA history to each score 40+ points twice in one NBA Finals.
