We come to you with heavy hearts as we share the passing of one of our Miracle League athletes, Jaxon Guffey.Jaxon had a million-dollar smile that could light up the Miracle Field and the hearts of everyone around him. Over his four seasons with us, he played with the Mud Hens, the Trash Pandas, the Royals, and the Pirates. Jaxon especially loved being pushed around the bases — the faster, the better — and his biggest smiles often came when a Snead State baseball player was the one giving him that thrilling ride. His joy was contagious to all who watched.

The award was a recognition that celebrates not only a player’s love for the game but also the joy and inspiration they bring to others.

Rest in peace, young soul!
