The New York Giants selected him in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL draft and won two Super Bowl rings, both against the New England Patriots.

On March 9, 20212, the Giants released him and he signed with the San Francisco 49ers. However, the 49ers waived him on December 31, 2012.

Brandon made his second stint with the Giants, signing a one-year contract on September 10, 2013. Later, he announced his retirement on January 2, 2014.

I think winning a championship is important, not many people have one and not many people have had a chance to play in a Super Bowl. I respect that, but right now, I’m working towards the same goal with a new team.
