French tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou not just makes headlines for training famous athletes but for his personal life.
Back in 2022, when Romanian tennis player Simona Halep divorced her husband, there were rumors speculating that Patrick could have been the reason for their split.
The news spread like fire when the Romanian magazine Orange Sport reported that Halep had moved to Nice, France, so that she could stay closer to Mouratoglou.
The tennis coach indirectly responded to the gossip, sharing his wife’s post on his Instagram. Currently, he is still married to his wife, Ada Obilu.
Patrick Mouratoglou founded his tennis academy in Paris around 1996 and later relocated his institute to Nice.
He is mostly famous for coaching Serena Williams for a decade (2012-2022). His coaching center soon became popular, and he coached many young talents, such as Marcos Baghdhatis.
Even though Patrick did not initially have a good impression of Marcos, he became one prominent figure in the world of tennis.
His growing international popularity led him to coach many prominent athletes, including Coco Gauff, Grigor Dimitrov, and Holger Rune.
Patrick Mouratoglou’s Wife, Ada Obilu
Patrick Mouratoglou has been married to his wife, Ada Obilu. The French tennis coach began dating her soon after his separation from his ex-wife, Clarisse Baux.
Not much information is available about Ada, as she prefers to maintain a low profile in the media. However, it seems she is of Nigerian origin and looks much younger than her husband.
As per reports, Mouratoglou met his current wife at the 2014 Citi Taste of Tennis, a New York food event for tennis fans.
The couple soon started their relationship and eventually exchanged wedding rings as well. In 2020, Ada confirmed their marriage by changing her last name from Obilu to Mouratoglou on her Instagram.
Currently, the pair are blessed with two daughters. Ada gave birth to their first daughter, Lea, on September 13, 2016. Similarly, they welcomed their second daughter almost three years later, on June 20, 2019.
Despite frequent rumors surrounding Patrick’s affairs with other women, Ada has managed to maintain a happy marriage with her husband over the years.

Previously, Mouratoglou was married to a French interior designer, Clarisse Baux.
His ex-wife used to work at his company PM Management Company since its establishment in the early 2000s.
Together the duo had two daughters and lived at their residence in Montfort-i’Amaury.
One of their daughters, Juliette Mouratoglou, is a fashion model who has already been featured in Vogue magazine.
Along with that, she is also the founder and designer of the French clothing line HIK. Besides, their other daughter, Charlotte Mouratoglou, prefers to live away from the limelight.
Mouratoglou and Clarisse split after the Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova alleged that Serena Williams was having an affair with her coach.
This revelation came when the top two contenders were involved in a heated argument during the 2013 Wimbledon Open. Both Patrick and Williams remained silent about the matter, it affected Mouratoglou’s marital life.
The same year, he and his wife, Baux, divorced. Despite all this, he maintains a good relationship with his two daughters.
Moreover, he also has a son named Ralph Mouratoglou from his first relationship.
