A tennis prodigy Holger Rune not only won the 2022 Paris Masters at 19 but also the hearts of many, which drew attention to his personal life. Fans wonder if Rune has a girlfriend or any dating story to share.

Holger Rune was born in Gentofte, Denmark, to entrepreneur parents: Aneke Rune and Anders Nødskov.
He is the youngest of two kids; he has an older sister named Alma Nødskov Rune, born on February 2, 1999. The Rune siblings have an age gap of four years, two months & 27 days.
Holger caught tennis interest from his elder sister Alma who used to play tennis & now has switched her career to modeling.
Both his parents were supportive of his tennis career & kept him under coach Lars Christensen’s wing.
Holger’s father, Anders Nødskov, is the CEO and founder of YachtZap (November 2016- present).
Moreover, according to his LinkedIn profile, he’s been serving as the managing director of TR Shipping Denmark ApS (2004- present) & the advisory council member of the AYSS Superyacht Agents.
As for Rune’s mother, Aneke, she is the CEO and founder of Waterpoint and Minicooler. Moreover, she serves as the agent for her tennis player son.
Mother Left The 2023 Wimbledon Match In Mid-Way
On July 8, 2023, as Rune was struggling in the Wimbledon Open to pace back the trailing 2-1 set with Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the third round, his mother left the court.
Holger’s mother was joined by his longtime coach Lars Christensen- many even questioned about her exit.
During her exile, her son not only made a comeback but also secured his place in the fourth round to face Grigor Dimitrov.
Regarding the exit, Aneke later opened up that it was for her son’s good.
She said that Holger was losing focus on the game & was rather looking up to his mom & coach. So, they made that move to allow him to concentrate on the match.
Well, it’s not only time the Danish tennis player’s mother made an exit from the game to reduce pressure from her son’s shoulder.
The same incident occurred in the 2022 French Open quarterfinals. Many were curious if Holger had an altercation with his mother that made her leave in the mid-game.
But he cleared the rumors & stated that he loves his mom so much. Rune said, ‘She knows how to give me peace.’
