A gifted student-athlete and recent graduate of Ridgefield High School, Brandon lost his life in an equipment accident while trying to move a log splitter at a private residence in New York.
Despite efforts from first responders, the young man, known for his warmth, leadership, and athleticism, could not be saved.
Brandon had recently graduated with the Class of 2025 and was preparing to attend Dickinson University in the fall to continue his passion for lacrosse while pursuing a degree in business.
Throughout his high school years, he had become a standout in soccer, lacrosse, and track—earning All-FCIAC honors and widespread respect from his peers and coaches.
The loss of Brandon sent waves of grief through the Ridgefield and greater New York communities.
In response, those closest to him sought ways to ensure his legacy would endure far beyond the field or classroom.
