Nevertheless, it is worth noting that individuals can have diverse cultural practices and may celebrate holidays outside of their religious beliefs.

No matter which religion he practices, his activities demonstrate that he appreciates and participates in the cultural aspects of holidays.

While his faith significantly shapes his identity, character, and values, Stevenson primarily focuses on his professional boxing career. He aims to excel in the sport he loves.

Shakur Stevenson, the eldest of nine siblings, was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. His upbringing was primarily shaped by his mother, Malikah Stevenson, and his stepfather Shahid Guyton.

While Shakur’s biological father had Puerto Rican heritage, he was not actively involved in his life.

Therefore, Stevenson identifies his ethnicity as African-American. He proudly represents his African-American heritage, contributing to his identity inside and outside the boxing world.

His ethnicity is often mentioned in discussions and articles about his background and personal journey as a prominent boxer.
