Basketball player Rashaun Agee, now in a legal battle over his 2025–26 eligibility, has supportive parents from a diverse cultural background.

The Texas A&M transfer Rashaun recently appeared in a Brazos County courtroom to fight for his right to play.

The judge ruled in his favor, granting a temporary restraining order that allows him to compete and receive his $1.2 million NIL funding.

His legal team argued that his eligibility clock shouldn’t have started in 2019–20, as he didn’t play that season while enrolled at New Mexico State and a junior college.
