Tim was born in Houston, Texas, to parents Billy Frazier and Janice Frazier on November 1, 1990.

William Frazier and Krystal Frazier are Tim’s siblings. Moreover, Krystal, his five years older sister, is a Rice basketball guard.

Tim spent two seasons with the Red Claws, 76ers, and Trail Blazers between 2014 and 2016.

He worked with various NBA teams before his professional debut in the 2014 NBA Draft.

Moreover, he signed with Boston Celtics on September 29, 2014, to a non-guaranteed training camp contract.

A few days later, he was recruited as an Affiliate player by the Maine Red Claws. 

Similarly, in 2015, he assisted the Claws to a 104-92 victory over the Canton Charge, snapping the team’s three-game losing streak. 

Tim made a ten-day deal with the Philadelphia 76ers on February 5, 2015, and made his first appearance the next day, making a 96-107 loss to Boston Celtics.

In the same way, he again made ten days contract with the 76ers in January.

Furthermore, he played in 41 games with the Portland Trail Blazers, making a contract of multi-year deal in March.

Tim was awarded as Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player.

He chose to stay with the Blazers and participated in the 2015 NBA Summer League and training camp. The Sioux Falls Skyforce defeated him in a 106-97 loss.

Tim signed with New Orleans Pelicans on a ten days deal and made victory against Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Clippers, Indiana Pacers, and Brooklyn Nets during his games.

With a 107-102 loss to the Denver Nuggets in the season-opening and Golden State two days later, he made another 10-day deal with the Pelicans.

Washington Wizards & More

In exchange for the 52nd overall pick, Tim was traded to Washington Wizards in the 2017 NBA draft on June 21, 2017, and made a 129-104 win over Atlanta Hawks as Wizards.

Similarly, Frazier signed with the Bucks for training camp but later was waived by the Pelicans.

Officially in 2019, he signed with the Bucks and faced a 127-116 loss to Oklahoma City Thunder.
