Does Trey Lance have a sister? Is Bryce Lance his only sibling? Scroll to find out.
Trey Aubrey Lance is an American football quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL).
Born on May 9, 2000, Lance attended Marshall High School, where he was considered the best quarterback prospect in Minnesota.
After high school, he initially wanted to play at the Minnesota Golden Gophers but committed to play for the North Dakota State Bison.
The 49ers quarterback was redshirted for the 2018 season, and in the 2019 season, he led the Bison to the 2020 NCAA Division I Football Championship Game.
After the season started after the Covid-19 pandemic, Lance declared his name for the 2021 NFL Draft.
The Minnesota native athlete was picked by the 49ers, making him their first first-round quarterback since Alex Smith in 2005.
Who Is Trey Lance Sister/Brother?
Trey is sometimes seen with a girl around him or cheering for him in the stands. And some fans assume she is Trey’s sister, but she is not his sister but his girlfriend, Brynn Chandler.
The quarterback was born to Carlton and Angie Lance as their eldest child. They also have another child, Bryce Lance, who is younger than Trey.
Both of the Lance siblings excel in sports and have the same passion for football.
Bryce was a member of the varsity football team at Marshall High School and graduated in 2021, the same year his other brother, Trey, got drafted into the NFL.
Playing with his high school team, he set school records for receiving yards in a game (199), season (873), and career (1,766).
Similarly, he earned the District Offensive Player of the Year in 2020 and Co-Defensive Player of the Year in the district as a junior.
Besides, Bryce also played basketball during high school and scored a team-high 15 points in Marshall’s section championship victory in 2020.
Afterward, the youngest Lance enrolled at North Dakota State, Trey’s alma mater, and is playing as their wide receiver.
Hopefully, Bryce will be able to follow in his brother’s footsteps and make his way to the NFL.
The Lance Family
The Lance siblings come from a mixed heritage, their father is African-American, and their mother is Caucasian.
Their mother, Angie Lance, was a teacher by profession and was the major driving force behind Trey and Bryce’s football careers.
While Carlton Lance, like his kids, played football and used to train Trey and Bryce.
Carlton played as a cornerback for Southwest Minnesota State and is a Hall of Famer for Southwest Minnesota State.
He played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the Canadian Football League and the World League of American Football for the London Monarchs.
Carlton and Angie met each other during their time at Southwest Minnesota State.
They instilled small-two values in their kids and raised them to be faithful, healthy, happy, and kind.
Their individual parenting styles worked as a catalyst to drive their kids through hard work and discipline.
