Dathan Ritzenhein is a retired American long-distance runner who was known for his achievements in both track and field events, as well as road racing.

He had a successful career that included representing the United States in international competitions.

Ritzenhein attended the University of Colorado, where he had a victorious collegiate career in cross country and track.

He competed in the 2004 Athens Olympics in the 10,000 meters and the 2008 Beijing Olympics in the marathon.

Ritzenhein excelled in the marathon distance. He set his personal best of 2:07:47 at the 2012 Chicago Marathon, making him one of the fastest American marathoners at the time.

Ritzenhein was also known for his success in cross country. He earned a bronze medal at the 2001 IAAF World Cross Country Championships.

After retiring from professional running, Ritzenhein transitioned to coaching. He worked with various athletes and contributed to the development of distance runners.

Currently, Ritzenhein serves as the head coach of On Athletic Club in Boulder, where notable athletes like Ollie Hoare, Morgan McDonald, and Geordie Beamish are part of the team.

She strategically overtook mid-race leader Elizabeth Leachman in challenging muddy conditions, securing victory in 17:10.4 at the Glendoveer Golf Course in Portland.

Earlier this year, Addison set a personal record, securing fourth place at the St. Vrain Invitational in 18:42.40—over a minute faster than the RE-1J District Meet.

In addition to that, her St. Vrain performance ranks as the fourth-fastest ever by a freshman on the course.

Similarly, she set personal records in eighth grade: 2:36 in the 800 and 5:50 in the 1,600.
