Zach Muckleroy’s wife, Lauren, is the only survivor of a fatal car accident that took away her husband and kids.
The Muckleroy family was traveling for Thanksgiving when the unfortunate event left their family members & the whole world devastated.
In the tragic three-vehicle accident, four people were pronounced dead among which three were Zach himself and his two young children.
An alum of Texas Christian University, Zachary Muckleroy lost his life at 44 in November 2023. He graduated from TCU in 2002 with a degree in accounting and finance.
The college’s been home to Larry Brown, Lyle Blackwood, Andy Dalton, and, LaDainian Tomlinson.
While at TCU, Muckleroy played college football before he shifted his focus to business and took over his father’s construction company.
He served as the CEO of Fort Worth-based Muckleroy & Falls from 2020 until his demise.
Before that, he worked as a project manager in the company having joined it in 2009.
Zach Muckleroy Wife Lauren Mourns The Death Of Her Husband & Kids
The Muckleroy & Falls CEO Zachary Muckleroy’s wife, Lauren, lost her husband and two young kids in a fatal three-car crash on November 22, 2023.
The unfortunate incident happened on Thanksgiving Eve around 6:40 p.m. at Round Mountain, when the Muckleroy family was traveling to spend time with relatives.
Lauren Muckleroy, who drove a Chevrolet SUV, got in a crash with a Toyota Tacoma and a Nissan Versa.
Mrs. Muckleroy sustained critical injuries & was airlifted to an Austin hospital.
However, her husband, Zach, and her two children, son Judson, 12, and daughter Lindsa, 12, who were in the vehicle lost their lives. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
In the accident involving six persons, four lost their lives including the truck driver who passed away at the hospital.
A day later, on November 24, 2023, the official Facebook page of Muckleroy & Falls confirmed the death of Zach Muckleroy.
The former TCU coach Gary Patterson also shared the sad news via Twitter mourning the loss of Muckleroy’s family.
He also stated the sole survivor Lauren who was in a critical condition was aware that she lost her family.
While further investigation into the accident is going on, her close relatives & family ask for prayers to help Lauren endure the loss.
What Does Muckleory’s Wife Do?
Lauren Muckleroy (nee Johnson), born in June 1980, works as a speech-language pathologist at Fort Worth ISD.
She is a 2004 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, with a degree in speech-language pathology.
Zach Muckleroy Family: Parents & Siblings
Born on August 14, 1979, Zachary was the son of Harold and Patricia Muckleroy, who are both 72 years old.
He along with his young children lost his life in an accident; at the time of death, he was 44.
Zach is survived by his parents, two siblings: Alyson Gasper (husband Steve Gasper), and David Muckleroy (wife Madison Muckleroy), and his wife, Lauren, who is the lone survivor of the fatal accident.
Muckleroy was the CEO of a construction company Muckleroy & Falls in Fort Worth. His father, Harold, founded the company in 1979.
Zach joined as a project manager in 2009 & worked for a decade before taking over as the CEO in 2020.
He was an attendant of the Texas Christian University. There, he was a member of the Horned Frogs’ football roster in 1998.
The Texas native graduated in 2002 with an accounting and finance and chose business over a sports career.
