After witnessing two troubling incidents involving young children outside of school settings, parents are publicly praising Trinity Christian Academy of Cape Cod for providing a safe, loving, and respectful environment where students can thrive without fear of bullying or violence.

Katherine Becrelis, a parent and educator, shared how a single day reinforced her family’s decision to enroll their youngest child, Michael, at Trinity Christian Academy.

That morning, while attending her son’s town recreation basketball game, she watched a child no older than seven deliberately flip off another player on the court.

The gesture was clear and intentional. Even more disturbing, the child’s father observed the behavior without intervening or correcting it.

Later that same day, the family attended a first-grade birthday party at Nova Trampoline Park in Plymouth.

During the celebration, a teenage attendee struck Michael and the birthday girl across the face without provocation.

The assault left Michael, a first grader, likely facing a black eye from a child twice his size. Once again, the intent behind the act appeared deliberate.

In stark contrast, Becrelis emphasized that since starting at Trinity Christian Academy of Cape Cod, Michael has not experienced bullying, disrespect, or fear from fellow students.

Staff members know him personally, and the school community consistently shows him care and attention, from teachers to administrators.

That sense of safety extended beyond the regular school day. When Michael attended Trinity’s extended day program for the first time, his mother admitted she felt nervous. Instead of worry, she found reassurance.

At pickup, she saw Michael happily finishing a game of tag with a high school student who helps run the program.

The connection continued days later when Michael spotted the same student in the hallway and resumed their playful tradition, a moment that symbolized the school’s nurturing culture.

Becrelis highlighted how remarkable it feels to watch older students show genuine kindness and affection toward younger ones.

She described Trinity as a place where students of all ages look out for one another, creating a community built on respect and compassion.

She strongly recommends Trinity Christian Academy of Cape Cod, noting that every child deserves to feel safe and loved at school.

According to Becrelis, Trinity provides security daily while also fostering positive relationships with learning that will benefit students for the rest of their lives.

She believes the extra time and financial commitment required for enrollment is entirely worth the investment.

Many parents within her community echo that sentiment, praising Trinity Christian Academy for offering what feels increasingly rare: a school environment where children feel protected, valued, and genuinely cared for.
