His second stint with LSU came in 2002 as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. Davis has been part of three national championships during his collegiate career, winning the first with LSU and the next two with Nick Saban’s Alabama in 2009 and 2015.

There have been rumors that Texas’ head coach, Steve Sarkisian, could replace Nick Saban at Alabama. And if that turns out to be true, Texas might have to replace two big names in quick succession.

Bo’s eldest son, Beau Davis, is a defensive lineman at Southeastern Louisiana University. Standing at 6’1, the athlete hasn’t made any considerable impact on the football field. He was out of the 2023 season due to injury, and in 2022, he only played three games.

Before joining Southeastern Louisiana, Beau was enrolled at East Mississippi Community College. In the 2021 season, Beau recorded nine tackles for East Mississippi.

But there is a rumor on social media sites- Reddit and X that Beau could transfer to LSU.

The longtime sportswriter and columnist Kirk Bohls wrote on his X handle, “Bo Davis desperately wants to coach his son, Beau, and I bet the Southeastern Louisiana lineman transfers to LSU. That was the critical issue for Bo.”

A Reddit user wrote, “Apparently, Brian Kelly has promised Bo that Beau will be admitted to LSU and put on the team so Bo can coach his son.”

The user further wrote that Texas tried to get Bo’s son into school, but it couldn’t happen until May.

Beau is available on Instagram but hasn’t shared posts. He is on X, but even on X, Beau isn’t very active. Bo’s younger son, Jackson Davis, isn’t available on social media sites.
