Chael Sonnen shares two kids with his wife, Brittany, with whom he has been married for more than a decade.
Chael and Brittany’s first encounter was one of a kind, as Brittany ran away in between their light conversation.
After some cheeky tricks, Chael got a chance to go on a date with Brittany. Eventually, they married in 2013.
Chael Sonnen, born on April 3, 1977, is a submission grappling promoter, MMA analyst, and a retired American mixed martial artist.
In his career, Sonnen has competed in the UFC, Bellator, and WEC in the UFC Middleweight and Light Heavyweight divisions.
Born in Oregon, Sonnen began wrestling at nine, achieving success at West Linn High School and later earning All-American honors at the University of Oregon.
Starting his MMA career at the age of 19, Sonnen won his first six fights before UFC stints, including a notable bout against Anderson Silva at UFC 117 in 2010.
Chael faced controversies, including a suspension for elevated testosterone levels and two failed drug tests, leading to his retirement in 2014 and termination from UFC and Fox Sports.
He returned to MMA signing a multi-fight contract with Bellator and made his debut in a light heavyweight bout against Tito Ortiz on January 21, 2017.
Later in 2019, after a bout against Lyoto Machida, Sonnen officially retired. He is focusing on his analyst career with ESPN, Global Force Wrestling, World Series of Fighting, and Bellator.

However, Brittany, who came into the limelight after her relationship with Chael has kept her personal life away from the public eye.
Then-strangers, Chael and Brittany met each other when the retired MMA fighter was in Portland.
He says that Brittany ‘ran away’ after making some light conversation, but Chael followed her through the crowd for a second shot.
Chael tricked her and asked for her phone. He borrowed Brittany’s phone making an excuse that his phone had died.
Under the pretense of needing to make a call, he borrowed her phone and cunningly dialed his own number. Following this, Chael sent a message saying, “don’t lend her phone to strangers.”
The very next day, they went out for a date, which quickly evolved into a series of outings. Chael, it seems, excels not only in combat but also in matters of the heart.
Then dates turned into a deeper connection and eventually, they were in wedding dresses exchanging vows to stand by each other in good health and bad.
From their marriage, they welcomed two kids. The couple had their first child, son, Thero Stephen Sonnen on June 4, 2015.
Two years after the birth of their first child, the Sonnen couple welcomed their second child, a daughter named Pria, in the year 2017.
Chael Sonnen Kids: Tragic Death of Blauna Dian Sonnen
Besides Thero and Pria, they also had another child, their second born Blauna Dian Sonnen in 2016.
However, baby Blauna Dian Sonnen, died shortly after being born 10 weeks premature.
Talking about the reason for her death, Sonnen’s wife, Brittany, was infected with the bacteria listeria during her pregnancy with baby Blauna Duan. This led to the foodborne illness listeriosis and triggered preterm labor.
It is also said that it was a misdiagnosis and it could have been prevented. During the pregnancy, Brittany had some complications in her health which doctors kept on treating like dehydration.
However, it was later found out, she had an infection with the bacteria listeria. Since it was late baby Blauna could not be saved.
Despite their baby not being in this world, the couple still remembers her and treasures their memory with baby Blauna.
