Chase Edmonds Early Life

Chase Edmonds was born on April 13, 1996, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States.

Further, he was born to Alison Edmonds (mother) and Reginald Edmonds (father). However, nothing much about his parents is mentioned.

Besides, Chase went to Central Dauphin East High School and graduated from there. He used to play both basketball and football back then.

Chase was always active and interested in sports. However, his family supported him a lot to pursue a career as a footballer. Besides, being from an ordinary background, they did their best to fulfill their son’s dream.

Clash Edmonds Career

After graduating from Central Dauphin, East High School, Clash joined Fordham College. As he used to play both basketball and football, he decided to select one of them.

He then selected football and wanted to pursue his career in football. However, he even started playing football for his college as well.

College Career

Clash Edmonds played in Fordham for three years, that is, from 2014-2017. Besides, Edmonds plays 14 games rushing for 1838 yards on 294 attempts for 23 touchdowns during his freshman days.

Likewise, he even wins the Jerry Rice Award and NCAA FCS Rookie of the Year during his freshman season.

Similarly, Chase played 12 games in which he made 1,648 yards in 251 attempts and, along with five receiving touchdowns, had 20 touchdowns in his sophomore season.

In his junior year, Chase played in 11 games, making 1,799 yards on 257 attempts, and had 19 touchdowns with two receiving touchdowns.

Finally, in the Rams’ final season, Chase was injured and played in only seven games. His college career ended with 5,826 career rushing yards and was ranked in the NCAA FCS history.

Further, in 2017, Chase graduated from Fordham with a degree in communications.

However, during his high school career Chase’s coaches always doubted his potential. Indeed, it was not their fault; the evaluation processes have always been flawed, whether it’s college evaluation or professional.

The main reason for the coach’s disapproval was Edmonds’s height, a 5 ft 9 inches man running back with a film that shows defenders chasing him down from behind would be a little odd.

Similarly, Chase was labeled as “too small” and “too slow,” He would get a call from prominent college coaches.

Undoubtedly, Chase was a good player, but one evaluated him based on his performance; instead, they were always busy labeling him with different names rather than seeing his game.

NFL Career

Chase Edmonds made his NFL debut in 2018, on September 9. However, he played his first match against Washington Redskins, and sadly he lost that match.

Edmonds loses the match by rushing four times for 24 yards and catching four passes for 24 yards.

Likewise, Edmonds scored his two professional touchdowns on December 2, 2018. Similarly, Edmonds finishes his rookie season with 208 yards and two touchdowns.
