Christian Mansell parents have supported their son not only emotionally but financially as well. One of Christian’s sponsors is his father’s company.

His parents’ inspirational support has been the driving force behind his successful career, nurturing his passion for racing.

The emerging racing star, despite being diabetic, has shattered conventions and become an inspiration for numerous racers with similar conditions, encouraging them to pursue their passions.

Christian Mansell is a racing driver born in Maitland, New South Wales, Australia, on February 9, 2005.

He started his racing career with karting and debuted as a single-seater in 2019 at Formula Race Car Championship in New South Wales.

In 2020, Mansell won the Brands Hatch Circuit and Season’s Rookie Cup with a huge point margin the same year.

Before debuting in Euroformula Open Championship in 2021, Christian ranked first in Brands Hatch and Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps during the GB3 Championship.

Following that, in the 2022 FIA Formula 3 Championship, he made his first F3 appearance at Hungaroring before returning to Euroformula Open, where he ranked 38th in the final.

With determination and hard work, Christian started as a full-time driver on November 28, 2023, for the 2023 F3 season with Campos Racing.

Christian Mansell was born to his parents, Anthony and Megan. He grew up with his elder brother, Josh Mansell, who played basketball for the Hunter Valley Grammar School team.

His father, Anthony Mansell, works as a Managing Director at AJM TRANSPORT NSW PTY LTD in Thornton, New South Wales, Australia. They have expanded their business to Melbourne and Brisbane.

Although Christian’s parents have chosen to stay out of the limelight and media, they do have LinkedIn and Instagram accounts.

Christian’s parents paid close attention to their son during his early years. It helped them recognize Christian’s talents and permitted him to explore and learn more about his craft.

His parents supported him while participating in different karting events, inspiring him to follow his racing career. Interestingly, Christian’s father’s company is among Christian’s sponsors. 

Christian is occasionally seen traveling to different places with his parents.

Christian Mansel Is Diabetic 

Earlier in 2019, Christian was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and hospitalized, so racing was on hold for a while.

Under the racing rules, cell phones are banned. But, Mansell is allowed to use an embedded device to measure his blood sugar levels while racing.

The racer uses his platform to share awareness about Diabetes and its signs.

Mansell is very disciplined and maintains his body to remain fit for the racing.

Christian Mansell Misses on 2023 F3 Season Win

Christian Mansell finished 2nd in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship at Spa. He was competing for his position till the very end.

The Australian racing driver came second to his opponent Taylor Barnard with 1.529s of extra time.

Mansell expressed his gratitude and celebrated his win with a post on his social handles where he shared a picture of him proudly holding his trophy.
