On January 20, 2021, 3 days after the birth of Cypress, Anna shared the news by posting photos of their and June’s hands over the new baby’s chest.

Anna, who is a devoted Christian, did address that her second child’s name has a strong biblical connotation, with the caption containing a quote from Chapter 55 of Isaiah, 13th verse:

“Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress; instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle; and it shall make a name for the LORD, an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”

Cooper Kupp’s family divides their time in Westlake Village, California (during the season) and Wilsonville, Oregon (during the off-season).

Kupp’s father Craig Kupp (b. April 14, 1967), is a former football quarterback.

After Selah High School, he had a collegiate football career at Pacific Lutheran University and also became a 1986 All-Frontier Conference.
