But later on, the result was changed to No Contest after Blaydes tested positive for marijuana. This incident took place on February 4, 2017.

On July 8, 2017, at UFC 213, the Chicago resident faced Daniel Omielanczuk, winning by unanimous decision.

At the UFC Fight Night 148 on March 23, 2019, Razor faced Justin Willis (American professional MMA Fighter).
