The Houston Rockets claimed off waivers of Darius from the Miami Heat on October 11, 2022, and after seven days, they converted the original contract into a two-way agreement.
On November 6, 2022, Darius Days played his first G-League game for RGV Vipers but unfortunately lost 84-120 against the Capitanes.
